Ballots on Catalyst, Cascadia zoning election to go out next month
“We reject the Yes campaign’s call to cancel the upcoming special election, which would take away the opportunity for Greeley residents to weigh in on this issue. We fully support giving Greeley residents the chance to vote NO on delaying the creation of 3,800 new jobs, to vote NO on delaying the more than $56 million in Highway 34 improvements paid by the developers, and to vote NO on delaying the millions of dollars in new sales tax revenues that can be reinvested into Downtown and across our commiunity.”

Mayor Pro Tem Melissa McDonald noted “I’ve made it my mission to make sure we have local pricing for Greeley residents and Greeley kids. We need to keep the pricing local for those kids to be able to enjoy it. When we start looking at some of the benefits and negotiations with the operator, that is going to be top of mind for me.
