Reasons to Vote NO
Vote NO to bring nearly 5,200 new jobs to Greeley
- Independent estimates project the project will create 3,759 construction jobs during buildout (accounting for nearly $213 million in payroll). Once the project is built, Cascadia will account for 1,385 new jobs inside the district.
- Too many jobs are at stake to risk delaying this project over a zoning dispute.
Vote NO to keep $56 million in US 34 improvements on track
- Before any new building can go up, the developers are legally required to fund more than $56 million in new improvements to Highway 34 and CR 17.
- Delaying the zoning will effectively block the developer from funding immediate Highway 34 improvements for at least one year.
Vote NO to support Downtown businesses
- Visitors drawn to Cascadia are projected to spend more than $60 million each year across Downtown and other parts of Greeley. Voting NO on 1A gets these revenues flowing more quickly and without delay.
- Having tens of thousands of new visitors each year will catalyze Downtown Greeley’s revitalization, and will generate millions of dollars in new tax revenues that can reinvested into fixing our roads, and addressing homelessness and public safety.
Vote NO to bring the Eagles to Greeley ASAP!
- The City’s historic 40-year lease with the Eagles begins when the Eagles drop the inaugural puck in Greeley in 2028.
- Defaulting on a 40-year lease would create significant financial risks for Greeley, and would jeopardize an estimated $9 million in new taxable revenue generated at Eagles games.
